Vital Services for Seniors!
- In 2016, the Pike County Senior Center provided 34,647 congregate and home delivered meals, 32,655 summer meals to kids, 29,563 Head Start meals, 2,387 Rural Produce cases to families, 11,566 individuals participated in senior activities and over 82 events were held at the Senior Center.
- These vital services help keep nursing home-eligible seniors in their own homes.
In addition, the Pike County Senior Center schedules appointments for seniors at the center for the following services:
- Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP)
- Legal Aide
- Income Tax Assistance
- Assistance with USDA applications for home repair
- Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP) utility assistance
- Ohio Benefit Bank Counseling
Plus Good Old Fashioned FUN!
- Seniors meet people and make friends at the Senior Center.
- They go on trips to fun places like Scioto Downs and the Ohio State Fair.
- Seniors can participate in exercise programs and attend entertainment events.
- Seniors get information from a variety of speakers about issues that affect seniors lives.
- Congregate meals served Monday through Friday at noon
- Home delivered meals (a.k.a. Meals on Wheels) received by senior citizens 7 days a week
- In-home personal care services
- Transportation to the Senior Citizens Center
- Transportation to other places

- Socialization
- Information and Referral

- Plenty of Parking - with easy access to the building
